Good news for goods transport and loading and unloading processes! With the addition to its portfolio of new compact double stock stackers and a pallet truck from Linde, Motrac is making it even easier for its customers to maneuver in tight spaces in logistics, retail and manufacturing. All trucks are optionally equipped with foot protection to prevent injuries. The pallet truck even offers an ergonomic lift function for order picking, which spares the back and knees.
"In supermarkets, warehouses or production environments, for example, space is almost always an issue. The compact design of the new Linde double stock stackers offers a significant advantage for transport over short to medium distances and for tasks such as loading and unloading trucks, order picking and replenishing shelves in supermarkets," says Marc Castro, Senior Strategy and Portfolio Manager for warehouse trucks at Linde Material Handling.
The Linde D06 to D10 models can simultaneously move loads of 0.6, 0.8 or 1.0 tons on the free lift and an additional 1.0 ton on the row legs. The trucks are available with different battery versions to meet specific requirements. For versions with a compact lithium-ion battery, the size from start of chassis to front fork carriage (l2 size ) is significantly more compact. The Linde D06 has a chassis length (l2 size ) of only 592 mm. The latest addition to the range is the Linde D08 M double stock stacker with monomast. This model has a lifting capacity of 0.8 tons and 1.0 tons on the row legs, with a lifting height of 1,590 mm. The compact design, made possible by a compact lithium-ion battery, makes this truck an ideal choice for environments such as retail. Here, the truck can be used for transporting goods from the storage area to the sales floor and for stocking shelves. The monomast provides better visibility of the load and the truck's surroundings, allowing the operator to work more efficiently and safely. All trucks in the new double stock stacker series feature a five-point configuration and a center-mounted drive wheel. This ensures optimum stability when driving over uneven terrain or slopes. The special Linde OptiLift mast control allows operators to precisely control lifting speed via a lever on the tiller head.
The new pallet truck Linde T16 L was developed to improve comfort when picking orders in e-commerce companies or when restocking shelves in supermarkets. The ergonomic lifting system was specially designed with these requirements in mind. With the controls on the drawbar and on the sides of the truck, the forks can be raised to a maximum working height of 675 millimeters, allowing the operator to place the goods on the truck in an ergonomically responsible manner.
Both the double stock stackers and the pallet truck are extremely compact, measuring only 1,742 mm in length (l1 dimension) and 720 mm in width. This makes them even more maneuverable than their predecessors. The trucks are available with lithium-ion or lead-acid batteries. In turn, the lithium-ion batteries are offered as trough or compact versions, with the latter allowing for a particularly compact truck design. The powerful travel motor provides ample power and offers up to 20 percent climbing power. The latest addition in terms of safety is the optional foot guard. When activated by contact with the operator, the truck automatically stops or brakes and drives away from the operator. Standard features of the new truck include the far-through chassis, which prevents the operator's feet from becoming trapped under the truck, and the low-mounted drawbar, which ensures that the operator is at a safe distance from the truck. For added convenience, the auto-lift feature is available. This ergonomic option automatically lowers the forks during loading or automatically lifts the forks when packages are placed on the truck's forks, saving the operator time.
