Manhattan pioneers with GenAI in Supply Chain Commerce

Manhattan Associates presents two new solutions: Manhattan Active® Maven is a specialized Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) solution for customer service, and Manhattan Assist adds advanced GenAI capabilities to all existing Manhattan Active solutions. The company is applying this advanced technology to transform consumer interactions and improve the way customers use Manhattan solutions.

Manhattan Active Maven leverages the power of GenAI technology to improve the customer experience while reducing operational costs. This innovative solution provides a GenAI-powered consumer chatbot and a collection of GenAI features aimed at improving the efficiency and service standards of customer service agents. Built within Manhattan's omnichannel commerce solution, Manhattan Active Maven stands out as the first GenAI-powered customer service chatbot with native access to orders, payments, store locations and product availability.

Manhattan has leveraged advances in Large Language Models (LLMs) to reshape the chatbot experience before and after purchase. Manhattan Active Maven creates personalized responses that are dynamic and contextual, similar to those of customer service agents. Manhattan Active Maven is also very easy to implement: no rules, scripts or integrations are required. Retailers simply integrate it on their Web site and the solution goes to work.

Manhattan also announced Manhattan Assist: a GenAI-powered assistant that provides contextual answers to all questions about product functionality and API structures, among other things. Manhattan Assist also provides a natural language summary of how Manhattan Active applications are currently configured. This new feature is included with all Manhattan Active Solution subscriptions and provides platform-level support for multiple personas, roles and functions.
