Welcome to JDS business automation, a one-stop shop in ICT solutions for carriers! From the Dutch town of Venray, a team of about thirty ICT and support experts is on standby every day. They expertly assist small and medium-sized transport companies with software and hardware. One of the showpieces of JDS is LogisticManager, a transport management system (TMS) that JDS experts specially developed with and for transport companies to improve their business processes, administrative organization and internal and external communication.

"The uniqueness of LogisticManager is that the package is constantly evolving thanks to input from software users," confirms Luuk Van de Ven, Logistic Software Product Manager. "LogisticManager consists of four components. In addition to the TMS, we also offer our customers a driver app, web portal and warehouse management system (WMS). Each of these components can be used separately, but together they form one strong package. By the way, when purchasing one of these components, a customer gets standard access to the LogisticManager Statusweb web portal."

"LogisticManager is very easy to use. It leaves the route planning to drivers and planners within the company," said Luuk. "This makes our software ideally suited for any small- to medium-sized transportation company."

Not working harder, but smarter

"A major advantage of LogisticManager is that the solution reduces the number of routine operations and enforces a uniform way of working within the organization," Luuk points out. "In addition, customers gain access to a relationship and shipment management system, which means they only need to record this data once, after which it can be viewed, supplemented and edited at any time. By working with LogisticManager from a central shipment collection, they always have a clear view of transport movements and mutual coordination is improved."

Sharing knowledge with customers

Thanks to transparent and open communication, the JDS team works with customers to find ICT solutions to problems so that these solutions can be incorporated into LogisticManager. "We like to enter into a sustainable partnership with each of our customers," concludes Luuk. "This keeps us on our toes. Our customers challenge us to keep thinking about new logistics and transportation challenges, for which we then develop innovative ICT solutions."
