Making the most of space with easily adjustable racking

Europe Racking manufactures and installs warehouse racking and equipment. Because of its own production facility in the Netherlands, the company can deliver quickly and cost efficiently.

Originating as Bosal warehouse equipment within the Bosal Group, Europe Racking with a new name has continued as an independent company specialized in (custom) warehouse equipment since 2013. With 35 employees, Europe Racking serves customers throughout Western Europe. "Our system consists of tubes. So we don't work with cold-formed profiles," says project coordinator Herman Dessers. "A tube has great strength, which allows us to build as many as three floors on top of each other. That way we make optimal use of the height of a building without having to build an additional floor." The tubes are powder coated, and this can be done in any desired (RAL) color, for example in the color of the corporate identity or adapted to the colors in the building.

Comprehensive advice

Europe Racking has a wide range of existing solutions. With these, usually more than 90% of the warehouse can be furnished. For the remaining 10%, the R&D department can develop a customized solution during the quotation process and even a prototype can be made.

Customers who want to expand their warehouse in the future can always purchase furnishing elements that fit perfectly into the existing system. This also makes merging warehouses no problem at all. "And does a customer have a highly changing assortment? Then our racks are easy to adjust so that each time the space is used optimally," Dessers points out. "We always give customers comprehensive advice in advance. Based on what they want to store and how the routing goes through the warehouse for the best flow. The projects we work on vary. From small warehouses to recently a very large one of 10,700 m2 in Germany. This involved 7,500 linear meters of racking."

By the way, the company does not suffer from material shortages: there is ample inventory, so the delivery time for an average project is about five to six weeks.
